Pay-What-You-Can Professional Development

For a limited time, we are providing Pay-What-You-Can Professional Development trainings sessions. Through a series of three 2.5-hour zoom-based training sessions, we will train you on the pedagogical approach and interactive methods used in the SPEAK Vocal Empowerment curriculum.

You will learn how to support young women’s voices in your school or organization. We focus on the physical, social/emotional and civic voice. We aim to create a community of practitioners who can lead the SPEAK Young Women’s Vocal Empowerment Curriculum and who can also develop their own approaches to supporting young women’s voices for years to come!

The SPEAK facilitation training not only empowers you as a facilitator, but as a person, too. I left feeling equipped with a great toolbox and I felt empowered as an individual through self-reflection and exercise. I am excited about continuing the important work of empowering young voices!

For a Zoom Training, to be blunt, it was incredibly bad a$$.
— Alexxis, Educator
We do leadership and activism training in our community, and it is so heady. It all is so academic and political and it fills up your head and it feels like so much. I really feel like, after going through this, that this is the missing piece. You need the heavy political part, but you need the work on the body, on the self, so that you know what to do with it. You know how to use it. I am going to use this in my community when I go back. This is the missing ingredient for women’s leadership.
